|
ELECTRONIC VOICE PHENOMENON (evp) IS THE SCIENCE OF RECORDING VOICES OF THE PARANORMAL THROUGH RECORDING DEVICES SUCH AS DIGITAL RECORDERS OR TAPE MACHINES. THIS IS ACHIEVED BEST WHEN ACCOMPANIED WITH WHITE NOISE OR A CONSTANT SIMILAR SOUND.
RECORDING TIPS:
I find the best results using Digital Voice Recorders. It makes it easier to upload to any computer for further analysis. I suggest any USB Olympus Digital Recorder! That along with a good sound editing software such as Adobe Audition!! You can also get very good results using an ordinary tape recorder as well!
Ask simple, short, one answer questions and stay silent following the question. With this method, it provides an open question for the spirit to answer and provides more proof positive results. For instance, you ask "What is your name" and you get a name recorded, you know this to be an original EVP recording!
We have also found that if we mention our names outloud that they have been repeated in our EVP recordings. Examples of this can be heard below!
Also, try not to joke around while recording! There is plenty of time for that before and after the investigation! This way, you wont be second guessing any noises or sounds picked up by your devices! |
